The Story of Stash Picks, Inc.

In mid 2002, four inventors got together to talk about an idea for a new guitar pick. The concept of a pick playing two strings at one time materialized into the “Wicked” and the “Double.” Realizing they were on to something, three more guitar and bass picks were invented, offering multiple gauges on one pick: “Fat Boy,” “Tri-Tip” and “Diamond Back.” Knowing most picks get lost in pants pockets, the guys thought “stashing” the guitar and bass picks in a mini storage tin would keep them at a player’s fingertips. The four set up shop in a garage to assemble the tins, starting STASH PICKS history.

Since the first trip to NAMM in Winter 2003, Stash Picks has grown – more stores sell the picks and more people know about them. Currently, independent sellers and distributors in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico and Italy offer Stash Picks, and they are in every Sam Ash Music Store.
