1) Why the name STASH PICKS?

Generally picks are forgotten in the pants pocket or lost in the washing machine. We felt that having a storage container to carry the picks would prevent the problem of reaching into your pocket to find an old piece of stale gum, loose change, lint, etc. For that reason; our picks are, “STASHED” in a mini tin for easier access.

2) Where are STASH PICKS made?

The picks, the pad printing of the tins, the fulfillment, and every other aspect of our product is PROUDLY made in the USA and always will be! Although other companies make their picks in other countries, we refuse to take production over seas! Just because other companies have moved their production off shore to make more profit, we are keeping our manufacturing and fulfillment here in the United States of America. We all understand that jobs are needed here in the United States and we will not go overseas to save ourselves a few pennies.

Our picks are competitively priced and are the most innovative picks ever seen on the market. From the testimonials we have received, it is evident that our American made product is of the highest quality and the most innovative development in guitar picks ever. Please remember your purchase is fulfilling jobs, supporting families, helping our vendors, and our great country.

3) What makes the 5 STASH PICKS so special?

•  Market tested designs

Before bringing our designs to market they were tested by musicians, educators, industry professionals, hobbyists and more. Based on the feedback, our designs were reworked and retested until they were completely customer approved.

•  Different Gauges

Each of our picks has multiple playing surfaces with different gauges which allows you to create new and different sounds.

•  Multiple Playing Surfaces

Because each pick has multiple playing surfaces you don't have to switch picks while playing.

4) Should I buy a bag of picks or the assortment tin with picks?

Our extensive market research gave us the data that our picks are so unique, and so innovative, that no one had ever seen them before.  Invariably the guitarists, educators, industry professionals, etc. exposed to our plectrums for the first time had to play each one to determine their favorites. Our research led us to the conclusion that musicians are artists and each individual musician's opinion of the picks differed as an artist's opinion differ on the medium of their expression and the colors they use.

Therefore, our suggestion is that if you have never tried our picks it would be best to buy the assortment tin with 10 picks (1 of each of the 9 picks plus a bonus random Stash Pick). Once you decide which STASH PICK is your favorite you can then buy the refill bag of your desired picks.

5) What are the different types of STASH PICKS?

The “Fat Boy” is our largest pick. Each edge has a different gauge so you no longer need to switch picks when changing from chicken scratch rhythms to frantic solos. Just pick your point and go. Bass players have told us they like this one the most!

The “Diamond Back” gives the versatility of dual gauges in one pick but preserves the look and feel of a traditional style pick. It's heavy on one side for fast soloing and medium on the other side for funky rhythms.

The “ Double Pick” design looks like we have welded two regular picks together at the bottom. This unique feature allows for double striking the strings, giving your 6 string guitar a 12 string like quality. You can use it on power chords for a deep crunch or squeeze the ends together to achieve those sought after harmonics. Try doing this with your regular flat pick!

The “Wicked Pick” with its unrivaled shape produces powerful sounds without the feel of a thick pick. A little twist of your wrist gives you total control of the double strike timing to obtain that wicked sound.

The “Tri-Tip” shape, with a more traditional design, is equipped with a different gauge at each tip for changing sounds on the fly. The tips are more pointed than the “Fat Boy” making it a little more flexible.

The “Classic” is our latest edition, and lasts 10 times longer than the competition. It also includes our unique Double Grip feature – a grip on both sides for no-slip play. With 4 gauges to choose from (0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, and 1.4mm), play as long as you like. This pick can take it.

Where else can you find innovative picks with different playing surfaces, multi-grips, and the ability to make more than 20 different sounds?

6) Why are STASH PICKS so durable?

STASH PICKS are made of a space age polymer used by NASA. This polymer stands up to both hot and cold temperatures without losing its shape. After days of playing and heavy practicing, STASH PICKS don't look the least bit used. When was the last time you used a pick for a hard 6 hour practice session and didn't feel as if you needed another one? You will be amazed at what it takes to wear down a STASH PICK.

7) What keeps STASH PICKS from slipping out of my fingers?

Each pick has a specialized, non-slip grip that is precisely spaced so that no matter where you like to hold your pick, your fingers will be in contact with the grip texture. This special texture and its placement keeps the pick from slipping out of your fingers even when sweating and playing hard.

8) What are your goals for the future?

Our goal is to continue to make premium American Made plectrums. As we continue to grow, so will our research and development. We plan on creating many more innovative picks allowing you, the guitarist, to change sounds on the fly, and to obtain the confidence needed to play in the zone you dream about every waking moment.
