STASH PICKS, INC. GOES ITALIAN: "MOLTO BENE!"
MKM Italy, a music instrument and accessory distributor, recently purchased a number of Stash Picks displays with the full line of products to distribute across the European country. This is a real bonus for us, as they reach over 1000 dealers and over 90% of the music stores in Italy are their customers. MKM Italy has been around for 20 years, so they know their stuff. Hopefully we'll get to visit their headquarters in Voghera, south of Milan by 40 miles. Until then, may we simply say, "Gratzie!"
SAM ASH RETAILERS RECEIVE THE NEW CLASSIC PICK AND A NEW DISPLAY
When you go into Sam Ash to buy new Stash Picks, you'll notice the display is new. We had to redo it so we could fit our new CLASSIC pick on it. Now you've got nine different styles of picks to choose from. We also reconfigured the tin to fit all the picks in there, plus a bonus pick just for buying 'em. So next time you go in, check them out and stash a new Classic in your guitar case. You never know when you'll need to play all night.
CEO, David Rosenfeld , gets quoted in the L.A. Times
The Los Angeles Times wrote an extensive article on NAMM 2007 and Rosenfeld got to be a part of it. The reporter, Scott Martelle, happened to walk up to our booth and take a look. Stash Picks'
Marketing and Public Relations Director, Linda Magid, noticed his badge and asked if he wanted more information. Martelle asked a few questions and once Rosenfeld got into the conversation, Martelle brought out his notebook. A good sign. Next thing we know, he's quoted in the article that focused on the growth of the music industry and the young people who are fueling that growth.
We are thankful for any coverage we get by any magazine, but getting into the L.A. Times...priceless. NAMM 2007 A HUGE SUCCESS FOR STASH PICKS, INC.
The staff of Stash Picks, Inc. attended a booth for the full four days of NAMM this year, and while our feet were swollen and voices sore, it was a great time. Besides getting to showcase our new Classic pick to the NAMM guests, we also got to reconnect with our fans meet some new ones.
Helping us showcase the versatility of our picks by coming by and playing the guitar were Jerry D'Paoli of Dirty Black Halo , Mikey Sabatella and Brian Shaw of The Spencer Outfit , Ron Sachs of Rattleface. Plus James Knight, director of The Academy of the Performing Arts of Huntington Beach , brought some students who won a contest and got to perform at our booth. We also had a few surprise guests like Joe Rodriguez and Michael Brahm of Flock of Seagulls.
We don't know how many people came buy, but we gave away 9,000 picks over the course of the event. We trust they got into the hands of some excellent players.
Typically Friday nights are full of parties, in all the hotels and bars, thrown by the biggest names in the music industry. Rather than compete with that kind of hype, we threw a pre-party where invited guests came by our hotel room before attending their other events. With an open bar and as much pizza as anyone could possibly eat, friends and endorsees chilled out and talked business. Or not. Guests included Jeff Tyson of Guitar World Magazine, the members of Dirty Black Halo, and several employees of NAMM like Ann Collins, Shane Roeschlein and Dianne Dietch. We appreciate everyone who came by and spent some time with us on such a busy night.
The whole weekend was awesome and we look forward to NAMM 2008.
